How Cadence works for multi-brand restaurant groups
A walkthrough of Cadence: one calendar for every brand, captions in each brand's voice, approvals, publishing to six channels and analytics.
Cadence is social publishing for restaurant and cafe groups that run several brands. It does the five jobs your team does by hand today: planning, captions, approvals, publishing and reporting. Here is how each one works.
1. One calendar for every brand
Every brand's posts sit on one calendar, in week, month or list view. You can filter by brand or by channel, and drag a post to reschedule it.
Each brand keeps its own channels and its own voice. The whole week for every brand stays in one place, so the team can see a Monday thali reel for one brand and a weekend live music post for another without switching tools.
Every post carries a status: needs approval, approved, scheduled or posted.
2. Captions in each brand's voice
Write a short brief, and Cadence drafts captions in each brand's voice, with variants and hashtag sets. One brief can produce three versions for three brands: bold and short for the grill, warm and chatty for the chai shop, playful for the dosa brand.
A person edits and approves the final words. The drafts are a starting point, not the post.
3. Approvals that leave a record
Each draft goes to the right person before it goes live. The approval queue shows every post waiting, with its brand, approver, due time and status. An approver can approve or ask for changes.
The approval stays with the post, so there is a record of who said yes and when. Nothing goes live until it is approved, unless you choose to set it up differently.
4. Publishing to six channels
Cadence publishes to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok and YouTube. For each post you choose which channels are on, set times per channel, and publish on schedule or right away.
Your brands' own channels are the only place posts go.
5. Analytics by post, campaign and channel
Cadence reports performance from the post up to the campaign and the channel. You can see which post, which campaign and which channel worked across all brands, and use it to plan the next week.
A week in Cadence
Follow one post through a week for a team running three brands:
- Monday. Every brand's posts go on the calendar. A rooftop tables post takes the 19:30 Friday slot.
- Tuesday. Cadence drafts in the grill's voice, and the team picks a variant.
- Wednesday. The brand head approves, and the post locks into its slot.
- Thursday. Instagram and Facebook publish on time, while the team is out.
- Sunday. Results by post, campaign and channel show what to repeat.
Where your data lives
Cadence runs in your cloud or on your own servers. Posts, drafts, approvals and analytics live in a database you own. Thinkiyo sets Cadence up with you and stays after launch.
Works with other Thinkiyo products
Cadence shares one database with:
- Relay, to answer the comments and reviews every post brings, in one inbox.
- Vicinity, for local content, listings and reviews for every outlet.
- Mosaic, to turn engagement into one profile per guest.
Who it is for
Marketing teams at multi-brand restaurant, cafe and QSR groups who are tired of a dozen logins, captions in chat threads and approvals by screenshot.
What it replaces
The tools and habits a multi-brand team juggles today:
- A spreadsheet that calls itself the calendar, which nobody trusts.
- Captions written from scratch every day, in three brand voices.
- Approvals by screenshot in WhatsApp, with no record.
- A separate login for every brand's accounts, posted by hand.
- Monday reports assembled from screenshots.
Cadence puts the calendar, captions, approvals, publishing and analytics in one place, so a missing login on Friday evening no longer decides whether a post goes out.
